The Allison section is 1 page long and starts on page 1 with Alexander Allison who was probably born in Northern Ireland about 1680 and moved to (West) Nottingham Township, Chester County, Pennsylvania about 1720.

The Buchanan section is 219 pages long and starts on page 2 with Alexander Buchanan of Northern Ireland born before the 1700s and on page 207 with Josh Buchanan and his wife Margaret who lived in Orange County, Virginia as early as October 2, 1739.

The Gillespie section is 121 pages long and starts on page 221 with William Gillespie, born about 1720, probably in Northern Ireland and on page 325 with Robert Gillespie who was probably born about 1730 in Northern Ireland and lived in Augusta County, Virginia as early as 1754 where he served as a sergeant in Dickenson’s Rangers.

The Lamie section is 17 pages long and starts on page 342 with Andrew Lamie, who was born about 1731, and according to family tradition came from Scotland to America and married Agnes Murlin in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, about 1761.
